In Neo-Tokyo crime drastically changed as a super drug starts enhancing the physical and mental prowness of users. Hajime Tsukomo, a new recruit, joins up with Zeroichi, a Hanger, to take down these drug-powered criminals.
While reading the summary, the concepts of a federal agent teaming up with someone who is kept locked up gave me a Psycho-Pass-esque feeling. Then when I read the manga there was a yaoi element added into the story.
The action sequences are few and simple yet they help portray the story being told. This manga is more about the lives of the characters than the crimes itself. There is some sexual content in this manga as expected of the yaoi theme; however, the sexual content is not explicit. I’m not sure how this will unfold in the next volumes as the relationship between Zeroichi and Tsukomo progresses.
If seeing the relationship between two people blossoms isn’t enough there are other elements that have piqued my interest. The first element are the characters. The two main characters, Hajime & Zeroichi, have an element of mystery to them that I wonder how they will unfold. The second element is the concept of Hangers. I wonder at what other characters and Hangers will appear in this series.
