I put off watching the last few episodes of my usual anime broadcast because I really did not want to let go. Curiosity struck though so I watched the last few episodes to Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens and School Babysitters. .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·. At times like this I really wish I knew how to read Japanese just so I can get the manga or novels to the series. I don’t they will get picked up by English translators. Well, Hakata has a better chance, but I’m not sure if the demand is there to pick it up. It’s sad to see School Babysitters end though. I know I will re-watch the series every now and then, but like I said, I need a little distance at the moment. il||li(つд-｡)il||li
Then one day my brothers decided to watch One-Punch Man on Netflix. This is one of those times where I was just not in the mood to watch the anime so my impression of the first episode was not that great. After being re-introduced to the anime I watched all twelve episodes back-to-back. o(≧∇≦o) I immediately wanted to purchase the manga just to know what happens next. I held back because I can’t justify this expense (at least not yet). It wasn’t until today (the 9th) when I realized I can catch up with the series with my Shonen Jump collection. I mean, it’s a pain to download and jump around from release to release but I at least have something to look forward to. And let’s be realistic, I did that when I wanted to catch up on One Piece. My Hero Academia too. And Dr. Stone. Then Black Clover. I suppose I should keep the releases in their download status, but I really need the space on my iPad. The experience is always so memorable that I can look back fondly at those moments. (๑˃́ꇴ˂̀๑)
Noragami popped up on my feed and I decided to finally watch it. I had first read the manga so I was excited for the anime, but, for some reason, I avoided the series once it came out. I can’t believe I just finally got around to it. （⌒▽⌒ゞ I mean season two was released back in 2015. Well, I technically only watched season one….
I decided to peak over at my backlog of Detective Conan (aka Case Closed) episodes and decided to continue with the series. I started from episode 847 (Chiba’s UFO Case) and stopped at episode 868 (The Whistling Bookstore). ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ I like saving up episodes for this series because the episodes are always entertaining. When Crunchyroll received the first 130 episodes to the series I went back to binge watching the series. They were so refreshing to watch.
I also gave some new releases a try. (•⚗৺⚗•)
I don’t know what to think of Dances with the Dragons. I went into the anime knowing nothing. The premise looks awesome but I’m just waiting on the direction the anime is going to take. I just did a quick search and saw that the anime is based on a light novel series. I like doing this just to see if there is source material the anime is based on, or if it’s an—for lack of better terminology at the time—“original” concept. My best example would be something like Hunter x Hunter and KADO: The Right Answer.
I had seen the advert to Space Battleship Tiramisu and decided to give it a try. With the setting and with his looks I thought this anime would have a serious tone. I got an “idiot” main character and a light-hearted anime. I had virtually no expectations going in though and was just trying to pass the time by so I actually enjoyed the anime.
There were two baseball anime released, but the one I think I’m going to stick with is probably MAJOR 2nd. I’m mostly interested in seeing what kind of character development Daigo will go through. Who knows, I may pick up Gurazeni: Money Pitch somewhere down the line.
Until next time. ( ❝̆ ·̫̮ ❝̆ )✧
