July 2017 Book Haul

So most of my purchases in July was as an ebook format. I often look at bargain books on B&N specifically their ebooks. This is the chronological order in which I purchased the books for the month. Links lead to their respective Goodreads page. An asterisk(*) means I purchased it as an ebook.

1. All the Birds in the Sky by Charlie Jane Anders*

I saw book on the booktube community and when I saw it for $2.99 I got it.

2. The Soup Club Cookbook by Courtney Allison, Tina Carr, Caroline Laskow, Julie Peacock*
3. The Vegetable Butcher by Cara Mangini*

I normally do not get cookbooks, but these looked informative (and easy to make). I know there can sometimes be formatting problems associated with cookbook ebooks, but they were also very cheap.

4. Battle Rabbits Volume 1 written by Yuki Amemiya & drawn by Ichihara Yukino
5. Battle Rabbits Volume 2
6. Stein on Writing by Sol Stein
7. The Skeleth by Matthew Jobin
8. Anime from Akira to Howl’s Moving Castle by Susan J. Napier
9. Tales From the Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare, Sarah Rees Brennn, Maureen Johnson, Robin Wasserman

I got these off of BookOutlet. The main reason I got it was because I found The Skeleth on there. So I quickly tried to find books I wanted to get free shipping and this was the result.

10. Dark Lover by J.R. Ward*

I saw this book around often and snatched it when I saw it. All I know from this series is that maybe the plot is really romance based. Sometimes I am in the book for some cheesy romance that doesn’t get so complicated. (Unless I’m mistaken.)

11. Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey*

Truthfully I saw this book floating around during my Dramatic Reading Slump of 2007-2013. I was going to check this book out from my local library but decided not to for some reason.

12. The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin*

I just read the summary for this book and thought I should give it a try since it was cheap.

13. The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Sáenz*

I saw Hannah from A Clockwork Reader on YouTube talk about this book so I wanted to give it a try. I’ve read “Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe” by Mr. Sáenz and wanted to try his other books. I don’t really remember what the book is about but the plot did sound interesting.

-… . -.-. — — . …

I need to stop buying bargain ebooks though. The cost adds up, but I already found some ebooks I want to get.
